Olivia, Berkeley

A friend and I had dinner at Olivia on Dwight Way (just below Sacramento) in Berkeley last night. We both had the lamb entree ($19). It seems every time I see lamb on the menu I must order it. My friend is the same way. It was a generous piece of meat. I couldn't identify the cut, but it was similar to a shank in that it needed slow cooking. We both thought it was a great rendition - tender & tasty. It was served with black olives, carrots and white beans.

All entrees are $19, appetizers $7 and desserts $6.

Service was friendly, if a bit "too chummy."
