I've eaten at Italian restaurants and loved dipping bread in olive oil instead of using butter.
I tried using olive oil at home, and didn't like it. Maybe because I was using toasted pumpernickle rye, maybe because I had the wrong kind of olive oil, maybe because it lacked the ambiance. It was a virgin oil at home, but a cheap one.
Specifically, for identifying a specific brand of olive oil good for dipping bread, or some keywords that would identify a whole subgroup of oils.
