Okra dish

I made this the other night and it was so easy and so good I couldn't believe it. I had about a pound or a little more of fresh okra, which I rinsed off and drained. I put a slice of bacon in a skillet on low until it was crisp, then removed it, added pepper, increased the heat to medium, dried off the okra (it was whole), and sauteed it until it was a little browned, added salt, and devoured it. You could crumble the bacon into the dish, but I ate it beforehand.
