We just returned from a cross-country trip, and had the most amazing lunch ever at Texlahoma in Edmonds, OK, just a few miles from Oklahoma City. Brisket was moist and tender but tasted of smoke all the way through, the ribs were crunchy and crusty with loads of falling-off-the bone meat, fried okra, cole slaw and beans were all the best we've ever had at a barbecue restaurant. The place doesn't look like much in a small strip mall, but it gave us one of the best meals of the 9-week trip. Do yourselves a favor and check it out.
