Oil Pooling in Demeyere Proline Pan

Jfekhkej | Mar 20, 201905:04 PM     51

So I was in the market for a new 12" skillet and decided to get the All-clad d3 off amazon. However, after preheating the pan and adding oil, the oil would always pool like in the picture shown below. Not liking this, I returned the pan and decided to get the Demeyere Proline 12.6" skillet. However, the same problem occurred in the Demeyere pan, as shown below. Is this normal? Is it just a problem with amazon, and so should I return it and purchase a pan directly from Demeyere's website?
