Many a store I know has marinated mozzarella in 8oz (sometimes larger) containers. They come in a mix of canola and olive oils infused with parsley, oregano, garlic, basil, red and black peppers.
Can't see wasting a goodly quantity of oil once the mutz is all eaten; could it make, f'rinstance, a good topping for pasta, perhaps with other things added? Any other ideas? I'm not the cook-from-scratch type, yet I can do more than just 'mike' packaged items.
