My baby is only 7 months but we have started solids. So far she likes everything so it has been super fun watching her try new foods. This has got me thinking what kind of parent will I be when we all start eating the same thing (right now, we eat home cooked meals almost every meal).
This thought prompted me to post and ask what kind of parent YOU were? Did you offer other meals to your kids (and not talking about jus toning down the spice or leaving out a certain element they didn’t like but making or offering something completely different). What was your dinner ‘policy’?
My sister in law (who is by no means not a model parent) offers her child chicken fingers and pizza, and even when he doesn’t want to partake gets a ton of sugary / high fat snacks in place of dinner which is awful!
