I'm heading down to New Orleans next Thursday-Sunday morning with a group of buddies. We are all in our late 20's. We're looking for good food, good music, and just trying to get the overall New Orleans experience. I'd like to eat as much New Orleans/Creole cuisine as possible. We're trying to get the "locals" experience.
Here's a rough idea of our plan. Looking for everyone's input!
Thursday- Touristy day. Likely hit up Acme Oyster for lunch, then Pat O's for a Hurricane. We are thinking of doing Jacques Imos for dinner. I heard it's a fun spot. Will plan to do Frenchman after
Friday- Planning on doing Domenica's and then seeing Jeremy Davenport at the Ritz. I was leaning against doing Domenica's since you can get good Italian in NYC, but I've heard great things. Any other recs?
Saturday- We have a reservation at Bayona, but I'm torn between going here at Brigsten's. Any input?
Also planning on trying to do Mother's and Cochon Butcher for lunches.
