Some great food items are sometimes found at the least likely places, and I'd ask if anyone has come across such "who woulda thunk it" finds.

Example: the late, lamented Ho Kow Restaurant off Michigan Avenue (an old school Cantonese place) served the best club sandwich in Chicago.

Another: Club Lago, the family-owned Italian on Orleans, serves a sensational Yankee Pot Roast as well as a great egg salad sandwich.

You get the idea.
