When I was a kid my parent's used to get takeout from Jack's Chinese Kitchen in Bellflower. They have since changed their recipes but they used to make a duck dish that was excellent. You couldn't really tell that it was duck, it was pressed into squares that were about 1x1 and probably 1/4 inch in thickness. It was very tough and chewy almost like a thick duck jerky. They covered it in a lovely red sauce which didn't soften or sink into the duck one bit. Has anybody had a dish like this anywhere or know what it may have been called? After many searches I've come up empty handed. Thanx!
