OC eats... especially Fausto's!

I've seen people mention Ristorante Antipasti in Ocean City and have heard rave reviews. We haven't eaten there yet, but last week we ate at Fausto's which is (I believe) the same owner. It's so awesome! We had an incredible appetizer with huge lump crab and a light dressing with greens. And an incredible special that night... a pasta with that sweet lump crabmeat and a pink sauce. It was fantastic. The service was so pleasant. We were there alone for the first hour of our dinner (we went at 6 because of our toddler) and then only one other table was seated when we left. Fausto's is awesome! Go there when you're in OC! It's where the old Anna Maria's was, on the oceanside up around 116th St.

Okay... carry out steamed crabs at Leo's, 138th St were excellent again, but I didn't care for their crab cakes.

However........ a big surprise: EXCELLENT jumbo lump crabcakes at.... drum roll please..... DUMSER'S! The ice cream parlor. Unbelievably good food there. We've been enjoying great burgers and sandwiches and other food there for years, and I felt like a crabcake the other night and thought, what the hey. It was awesome! As good as I've had in OC. Dumser's of all places! I think the price was $15.95 or something like that.

Other than that, we enjoyed the usual... Dolle's fudge, Dumser's ice cream, Bayside Skillet breakfast crepes and fresh orange juice, Fractured Prune's fresh hot donuts... we're gonna have to diet this week!
