Occasioned by "Jay Bee's BBQ" on Knott Avenue in Cypress last week. Pleasantly surprised at the quality & quantity of the food. Tried the hickory smoked pork & beef ribs with the regular and hot BBQ sauces respectively. Small place with few tables. Staff (carver & cashier)was exceedingly pleasant. The meat was tender and lean, pork almost off the bone and the beef almost so. Anxious to go back and try the pork shoulder and brisket. My vote for the best in OC by far, and head-to-head with some of the South-Central guys (Phillips, Woody's, The Pit (rest in peace), Leo's, King's, et. al.).
