the obsessive chef buys a virtual round of drinks

michel | Jul 30, 200202:09 AM

To all those who posted in reply to my food queries, here's a virtual round of drinks in thanks for your help. In a city packed with food choices, you have helped me cut to the chase culinary wise. I will definitely be eating at Le Pichet and if I dont have lunch at Salumi it seems that I need to turn in my toque-which wouldn't be any gr8 loss as I hate hats in general.I'll be having lunch at Matts and the Market Grill and a big ole side of beef at the Metropolitan. Last week on the Food Channel Dahlia's was featured. Since I believe in signs, guess I'll be paying a visit to one of Tom Douglas's places, which several of u mentioned.Chinatown is a conundrum. So many recommendations, so little time. I really appreciated the 411 on the Tacoma Glass Museum, we'll be hitting there day 1.
So if any of you see a short curly haired female obvious tourist leading a rather bewildered looking guy with lots of facial hair, both looking rather overfed, that could be me. Come up and say hi and we'll go to Salty's for drinks on me.Look for me at the Pikes Mecca. I'll be squeezing fruit, sniffing fish
and have a huge smile on my face!!!
