I'm considering a meal at both of these restaurants, but am having trouble ascertaining how much it would be. The various price category ratings I've seen in the Washingtonian or the Washington Post are not very helpful (why don't they give you an estimate of cost per head, or at least a range of prices for appetizers and entrees?), and Palena's website doesn't post prices on its online menu (somewhat of a personal pet peeve of mine).
For The Prime Rib, how does it compare with other big-name steakhouses in the area (which from my experience all cost about the same)? For example, OpenTable lists Morton's as $$$$ while the rest are $$$ -- that just seems arbitrary to me, because I've been to Morton's and I don't feel it's significantly more expensive than, say, Ruth's Chris.
Any feedback you guys can offer would be appreciated.
