Oakland Lunchtime Chowdown reminder: Tuesday 6/22 Golden Lotus

susancinsf | Jun 21, 200401:04 PM

The second of our downtown Oakland lunches will be at Golden Lotus Vegeterian Restaurant, Tuesday the 22nd. That's tommorrow, and we hope you will join us! Those of us who work in the East Bay are eager to develop a series to rival the Friday lunches in the (SF) Chinatown series,so come on out and help make it happen....

This restaurant is run by Buddhists, offering vegetarian (along with "fake meat") versions of Vietnamese and Chinese dishes, along with a couple of Thai and Japanese offerings.

Since Marc W. will be stuck in a meeting most of the day, Email me at still15320@aol.com if you (and friends) are interested; I'll email back Monday evening to let folks know who's coming.

We will probably meet outside the restaurant at ten till noon, entering at five till, although I will make a reservation if there are more than six of us.
