As I waddled back from today's comfort food (chow jew mi fun), I passed by Jade Villa and saw signs in the window proclaiming... $0.99 dim sum.
Not that I think Jade Villa is a good place. And it didn't look very crowded at 12:20. But it's been a number of years since I was there, and the price is certainly attractive.
There were also signs around Legendary Palace indicating some sort of Chinatown festival at the end of August? Anyone know how culinary it is?
And finally, I missed my chance to try out Hearts of Palm in the Navis building (9thish+Broadway). It's now called something that has escaped me. Manila? Mantex? "Ma???? Barbecue", proclaiming Filipino/American food. It didn't look amazing, but it's always hard to tell.
