NYTimes Puts Recipe Box Behind Paywall

exyalie | Sep 27, 201803:53 PM     35

After accumulating a wonderful supply of recipes on their site, as I prepare to make a Pad Thai dinner from a recipe I found and saved to their page, I find that I suddenly no longer have access to the NY Times Recipe Box, even though I am a subscriber to the paper.

I am angry. I have cancelled all my subscriptions to the Times in protest. After all, it's not like I was accessing premium content - I was merely using their site to store the recipes that I have accumulated from a variety of sources myself. And I am/was a paid subscriber to the paper.

Am I wrong? (Let me warn you... it will take a lot to persuade me that i am)
