This is my first time posting on here, but I have always used the site as a resource for restaurants in different cities. I have been so amazed by all of the nice, helpful responses from people in NYC so I figured I would reach out for some help of my own. My fiancée and I will be in the city for four nights at the beginning of August. I am a huge fan of food and I love trying new restaurants, especially those that are considered the "best" in any given city. I have alarms set in my phone for many different reservation dates, but now I have to actually decide which restaurants to choose (or try to at least get reservations at) when the time comes to make the reservations. My goal is to likely go to at least two, but most likely three of the restaurants I am about to list for dinner, and possibly one for lunch as well. Our lists consists of the usual suspects (from what I've seen), so EMP, Jean Georges (which the fiancée seemed to really like when I showed her some of the food items), Le Bernardin, Momofuku Ko, Atera, Jungsik, Ichimura, Shuko (have heard mixed things from some friends in the city), 15 East, Aquavit and Del Posto (I am allergic to gluten so the idea of eating Chef Ladner's gf pasta really excites me). Unfortunately, Per Se is going to be closed while we are in town, but I would love to try it sometime. Sorry for the long post, but I am having a hard time narrowing down the choices. We both love all different types of food, and we really enjoy trying new places and new styles. Thanks again!
