I'm taking my 76 yr old mom to Manhattan for Mother's Day (annual trip). We need great restaurants for Friday dinner (seeing broadway show that night - so somewhere close), Saturday lunch and dinner and Sunday brunch. We're foodies, love seafood/fish (but don't need it every meal) would like 1 amazing dinner (~$300) and rest can be just great food but not off the charts expensive ($200 for dinner including 1 glass of wine each, $100 for lunch/brunch). Fav's from previous trips include: Dinner: Esca, Aqua Grill, Nougatine, didn't love ABC kitchen, BRUNCH: Dirt Candy, Pastis, LUNCH: the modern at Moma. I personally love asian fusion, not super stuffy, great service and interesting food that I wouldn't cook at home.
