NYC Chowhound coming to Boston....

I will be traveling to Boston in a few weeks for a vacation/Boston research week, we are thinking of moving from NYC to Boston in a few years. We are staying near Andover area. We have only four nights and we are traveling with 2 children, I am hoping my husband and I can manage to reserve 2 of those nights for an 'adult' dinner with just the two of us. We are looking for neighborhood type of restaurants, not touristy and not in the city. From the links, Grotto looks nice, we are also interested in finding a Thai restaurant. Can anyone recommend a restaurant that is good for kids and another that would be for adults? If you only had four nights left in Boston where would you eat? Mid-priced. Also- has anyone been to the Copenhagen Bakery, I'm not sure of the name but hear that a Scandinavian bakery was opening in Boston, we do not have one in NYC so I would like to check that out.
