Well, our annual visit to NYC for food is only days away, and we are putting finshing touches on our plans.
We arrive Friday night, and currently play to dine at either WD-50 or Sumile, but could make a last minute decision to go somewhere else, like The Modern or al di la. If we are up to it, we will follow-up our dinner with a trip to the Arepa Lady in Queens.
For Saturday's lunch, we are limited because we will be eating with the family, who have very limiting tastes. The current plan is to head to Otto, where the non-adventurous can make a meal of so-so pizza, while I stick to the other menu items. I love that olive oil gelato.
Saturday evening, we are leaning towards a chow tour of the East Village and LES.
Kuma Inn, Cacio e Pepe, and Tides, among others, are currently on the list.
Sunday before we fly out, we plan on a boozy brunch at Prune.
I can hardly wait.
