What NYC DOES Have Over Chicago:

B Level Dining

Suddenly, Chicago has become a very expensive place to eat. I was just at Bistrot Zinc with a friend and we managed to drop over $200.00 on the bill alone. And the food was just... eh.

I really wanted to cook, she wanted to go out.

Mind you, we could have FINALLY ordered a bottle of the Cab that we kept downing, but that was about $60.00 of the bill. And the food was still, eh.

What I will give to NYC is, you can trip and find these killer bistros all over the place, and spend less while getting a vastly better meal. Hell, I can go to Le Veau d'Or in NYC and it would cost me about the same as it would at Bistrot Zinc with VASTLY better food.

I'm calling out for ALL CUISINES, the BEST joint, pick one place and state your case. Most expensive entree has to be UNDER $25.00. I don't want to go to a place where the Chicken costs $18.00. That's outrageous!

I'm looking for a less expensive option where the food JUST ROCKS! and they have a solid/ decent wine list. Must go beyond a "selection of white, red and pink". I'm interested to see what people have to say.
