NY Style Pizza in San Luis Obispo - for a dying friend!

NMFoodie777 | Mar 22, 201808:09 PM     5

A dear friend and spiritual teacher who lives in SLO is more or less on her death bed, and I need to find her the best slice. She has been vegetarian for many years, but now that she's about to pass on, wants to have one last slice of pizza. This will literally be her last slice of pizza ever!

She is Italian and grew up in New York, so naturally I'm looking for NY Style, thin crust, lots of cheese, probably just margherita will be best. She is very physically hampered, and cannot leave the SLO/Arroyo Grande/Grover Beach area.

I read some reviews of Pizza La Nova that sounded perfect, but there was one from August 2017 saying it's under new management, and quality has dropped. Can anyone confirm this?

Your recommendations for La Nova or others would be very welcome. Thanks!
