NY Hound Needs Help for Family Trip

Greg S. | Mar 23, 2005 09:52 AM

We are coming to Boston the first weekend in April and would love recommendations for lunches and dinners. The 12 year old is a true chowhound; the 5 year old basically eats any variation of chicken with rice, chicken with fries, or plain pasta. Wife eats chicken, fish and veggie, but not red meat. I eat everything. The kids are good in restaurants but not angels (so no hushed, romantic places).

We need one real "destination" restaurant for dinner that is reasonably chowkid friendly. The rest should be less $$. Near obvious tourist destinations a plus. Near hotel (Nine Zero) a plus. However, we will have wheels and can go where the chow is.

Thanks in advance for making our Boston chow experience memorable!
