NY Chowhound Needs Seattle Guidance???

Hello all. Im a regular on the NY board and have been sifting through your "Pacific Northwest Board" for the past hour. Im now dizzy, hungry and overwhelmed. In other words, I could use some HELP!!!

Here's my situation. I am going to be in Seattle for the first time on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Im coming on a biz trip and luckily, both evenings will be free to roam for gastronomical treasures. Ill be staying at the W on 4th St but will have a car and GPS
if I need to travel.

In a nutshell, I need some dinner suggestions. Ill be solo, so the only fundamental requirement is that the place has a decent bar to sit at, communal seating, or a friendly environment where a "party of one" won't be awkward. Other than that, Id like to focus my meals on ingredients indigenous to the Pacific Northwest or ethnic food that blows away the Northeast. $ isn't an issue. Im not averse to spending $100 for a great meal or $7 for a killer combo plate. Also, are there any particular seasonal delicacies I should focus on in late March (ie species of fish, oyster variety, veggie, beer)?
