I've heard so many different things from chowhounders and other sources that I was hoping to get the straight scoop on the following questions regarding Nozawa:
1) Does one really have absolutely NO say in what one orders? Is it mandatory omakase, or is there some a la carte input?
2) How much is it? Some people say 60-65pp, others 150pp. Why so wide of a gap?
3) Is the average meal time really only 30 minutes? Does Chef Nozawa really force you out as soon as the last piece of fish is in your mouth?
4) Does it matter whether one goes on a weekday or weekend?
5) Is it really that good?
Thanks for clearing up these questions. I've been curious to try Nozawa and these concerns have been swirling in my head for a while.
