Welcome to our November voting thread for our Dish of the Month. We'll be voting on our top two nominees, LAKSA and WAT/INJERA.
For the purpose of DOTM, all versions of Laksa are welcome. It can be the popular curry laksa with a coconut milk base, or a sour laksa, or any other version you find. It can be vegan, vegetarian, or include seafood or meat. I encourage you to investigate and try to find new-to-you versions if laksa becomes our selection.
The injera/wat option includes the full range of Ethiopian stews that fall under the wat category, plus the sourdough pancake known as injera that is commonly served with them. Feel free to use alternative grains to the traditional teff if that's what suits your palate or what is available to you. Shortcut versions that skip the traditional fermentation period are also fair game. In the injera/wat option, you can make just wat, just injera, or both... whatever works for your schedule and your household.

If you wish to discuss the dishes on this thread, please do so as a reply to this post. Please do NOT reply to the voting comments, as it separates our two selections and causes confusion.
