Anything new and noteworthy in Pompano?

ZenFoodist | Feb 10, 2017 09:51 AM

The husband, 13 year old chowpup and 8 month old chowpup-to-be will be visiting my inlaws in Pompano for a week and haven't been to the area for quite awhile. In years past we've been to Eduardo de San Angel, the fish shack spot, the requisite dinner at Houstons, the Seawatch, Casa de Angelo, some much lauded burger spot whose name I can't recall Etc. Of course we venture further away and have a dinner at Joe's Stone Crab, pick up some flan from Padrino's on Hallandale (my fave flan in the universe) get some Cubanos at Versailles or the Latin American Cafeteria, some BBQ at Tom Jenkins (is that the name?) and sundaes at Jaxsons.

Anything new and noteworthy for this trip? We honestly love **everything** although prefer to go heavy on the fish when in Florida (stone crabs!) and are every bit as comfortable in a 5 star as we are on a dirt floor of a hut! A CLEAN hut ;)

We'll also be in Islamorada and the Keys for the weekend but that seems to be another board.

Thanks in advance for the feedback!
Lisa
