We ate at Bizou tonight -- or we tried to. One of our dining companions started having chest pains just as our plates were set down and we ended up going to Encino Hospital. (She's fine, BTW... just an allergic reaction to something.)
So this post isn't really about the food (though I can tell you that the steak part of steak frites reheats very nicely after four hours, but the frites part doesn't -- this should be obvious).
I wanted to mention that in the five minutes between the time we called 911 (and I flung my credit card and the valet ticket at the manager) and the time the ambulance arrived, they processed my bill, had the food boxed up, ordered round my car from the valet, and had the boxes food put in the car.
I tipped them 50%. That's service under pressure.
