I recently started eating these at Natalee Thai (on Venice in Culver City - there's another on Robertson in BH, but I'm not sure that they serve these).
They're delicious sausages - they come grilled, two to an order, with sliced ginger, raw red onion, cilantro, roasted unsalted cashews, and some peppers (that I don't eat) and lime. They are simply amazing.
I've tried to buy them at Thai markets, but all I find is Longan sausage, which is sweet and not nearly as good.
Is this a standard Thai dish? Does anyone know where else it's available in a restaurant or market?
