I've been to newly opened NORTH SQUARE OYSTER three times already for cocktails or lunch (only open ~7 weeks), and it is fantastic! The Chef was apparently ex-exec chef at Clio.
I loved the cocktails, wine, and cold lobster roll with fries (they also have a hot buttered roll). The roll is minimally sauced and full of big chucks of tender lobster meat and some assorted herbs on a brioche-style bun. We also tried some of their raw oysters with traditional cocktail sauce, both East and West coast, including my favorite Island Creeks from Duxbury. The "composed oysters" feature interesting ingredients like raw quail yolks and watermelon and were delicious. Look forward to trying more of the menu.
The space is beautiful with 2 rooms on the ground floor, one being the adorable bar, and a larger one upstairs. Nice window views onto the quaint square where Mamma Maria's and Paul Revere's house are located.
A great alternative the ridiculous waits and cramped confines at Neptune Oyster.
