We hope to begin our upcoming visit to Le Marche/Abruzzo/Rome with three nights in Norcia. I'm feeling that this may be too much, but includes day of arrival from Rome, by car. Just reaching out here to see if anyone has strong recommendations for meals. We are booked at Palazzo Seneca and have a $100 meal credit, so might eat one dinner at their acclaimed restaurant, Vespasia. For other meals I'd like to stick with more local, un-fancy food. Will there be fresh truffles in mid-October?

I'd love some ideas on where to eat, and if there are any close-by drives we can take (not sure about condition of road to Castellucio at this time; will certainly ask on site). Our next stop will be Senegalia, booked there for three nights and wondering if we should cut one from Norcia and add one to Senegalia if I can do so without hotel penalty.
