Looking for a place for lunch with a friend that is open on Mondays we chose The Nook; was going to try Literati 2 but mineful that a Hound had previously incurred a hefty $62 lunch plus parking recently, we chose the Nook with its plentiful free parking.
First to arrive at 11.30 and had a booth - great for talking, low noise factor. Skipped the boiled peanuts but liked the table setting, cloth napkins and the zen place mats/cutlery. My friend had the chopped salad, said it was delicious and I had the caesar with dressing on the side (just as well because it was VERY glommey and gelatinous). I ordered the rare tuna with it - a good size piece for $4 extra, which friend and I split. Just enough.
Iced tea and that was it - $13 each including tip and we had the booth for a hour and a half. Highly recommended for quiet lunch is you go early enough - the place was buzzing when we left.
