Nook Bistro--thanks for the great suggestion

Foodie Universe | Jun 1, 2006 03:12 PM

On the recommendation of several posts on this board, I decided to try Nook.

Nook salad: Loved the beet dressing!

Nook burger: I usually don't like ciabatta, but this bun was tasty. Onions and cheese a little plain. Cooked properly, high quality meat. Loved the pungent mustard that came with the fries.

Fried calamari: very tasty but overly salty

Banana bread pudding: decided I don't like bananas with chocolate.

Atmosphere: small and sparse but nice. Low lighting, nice place settings. Not too loud or too quiet.

Service: very friendly, very professional. Not as prompt as I would have liked at times, but still way above average.

Prices: very reasonable. Most expensive entree is $22, least expensive is $12.
