Noodles and Ramen Pop-up in Columbia Heights

Steve | Sep 12, 201106:17 AM

Confirmed today from Thrillist:

People’s Noodle Bar
In Senor Chicken, Saturdays, 630-930p: 3100 14th St NW; Columbia Heights

They are serving tonkatsu ramen with buckwheat noodles, three options; pork, duck, or pork with cold noodle served on the side. Technically, buckwheat noodles are not considered ramen, they are soba.

They also serve just noodles (fried with olive oil !?!) and you can choose your own ingredients and spice level form 1 to 8.

Bowl of ramen with toppings; about $10, no toppings $7, and a half-portion with no toppings about $4, so not much of a commitment to see how you like it.
