We're travelling to DC this summer and my son is for all practical purposes allergic to cigarette smoke. He gets awful headaches and watery eyes. Are there any restaurants that are smoke-free? Do most restaurants have TRUE nonsmoking sections, far enough away from the smoking section that he won't be bothered?
We live in Tucson where smoking is banned in all restaurants, and before we moved here 3 years ago, we lived California where it was the same...they've even banned smoking in bars in CA now! So we always forget that smoking will be an issue when we travel!
All help is appreciated.
