NOM!!! Fudge @ Franklin General Store (Mystic, CT)

I have loved shopping for fudge from this store for as long as I can remember. Having just enjoyed a lovely slice of Tiger Butter--how can you not love it for the name alone?! vanilla layered with peanut butter and drizzled with chocolate--I am seriously sugar-fueled at this relatively early hour and just gotta say: NOM!!! They say "World's Best" and I simply cannot disagree. My favorite, favorite, favorite! Perhaps I should have consumed something other than sugar this morning. ;)

By the way, new to me--and not to you if you get to Olde Mystic Village more often--they now roast cinnamon-glazed nuts right at the front of the store: pecans, cashews and almonds. Try to resist! I couldn't. It's fun to watch them in process, too.

The eggnog fudge I sampled was very tasty, too. I am powerless to resist quality fudge..."you take my self-control!" HA HA HA HA HA! I have probably been shopping for it at Franklin since this song was popular, if not before!
