"Noise"level at Houston's

jsl | May 30, 2003 11:56 PM

Thursday, we had lunch at Houston's in Manhattan Beach/El Segundo. The menu always satifies all of us that meet and is always good. I had the wonderful prime rib sandwich. We waited about 25 minutes for our table, which was all right and expected. However, when we were seated we literally could not hear one another because of the noise. Is it s always like that at lunch time? I guess we will go back to Kincaid's where we can have a conversation which is one of the reasons we get together. Really too bad since the staff is so nice and the food is the best for a chain restaurant and everyone likes it. I guess when we have been there before it has been in off hours. Do all the Houston's have the same decimal level of noise? I know that noise is a constant problem on this site and I checked to see if Houston's had been mentioned but did not find any threads on it. Thanks for your input.
