Nodding Head Berliner Weisse

Jian | Jul 1, 200409:26 PM     2

I was at the Nodding Head the other day and had their version of a Berliner Weisse, which I've never had before. I thought it was really interesting liked it very much. The description said it was a wheat with with woodruff syrup in it which I guess is a sweet herbal syrup. It was a little sweet and sour, not much carbonation and I really enjoyed the herbal flavor that was almost licorice like. I'm not sure how rare it is to see this type weisse, I've just never seen it before. They said they'll be serving it for the next 3 week or so for sure. I thought I'd pass the word along to the board. So has anybody else had this beer or know more about it?
