Enjoyed a meal last week at Noah's Ark, on Grand St. It opened in the location of the old Grand Avenue Deli.
Very much enjoyed Noah's Ark. The place was hopping, the staff was reasonably alert and very friendly, and the restaurant was clean.
The waiters put out small, empty appetizer dishes at each place setting. Those are for the pickles and cole slaw, which were fine. The pastrami was lean. People were happy with the other dishes. The mushroom barley soup was well-made, if a litle tepid.
All in all, a pleasant experience, and a clean restaurant with good service.
