We will be traveling to New Mexico and Colorado next month. I have read the postings for the past year and feel quite confident that I have more than enough information about restaurants in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Taos and Denver, but we will also be in Silver City and San Antonio/Socorro, NM and later driving from Taos to Denver. Can anyone help with those areas? I particularly need help as I have celiac disease which means that I cannot tolerate wheat, rye, or barley or anything containing those items and am also allergic to dairy products. Most restaurants where the food is actually cooked (rather than reheated) and where the staff is familiar with the ingredients can accommodate me, so it is not so difficult to deal with if I know where to find restaurants that are knowledgeable about their food and not inflexible.
In (or outside of) Silver City we will be staying at the Bear Mountain Lodge which appears to have a restaurant. Does anyone know anything about it?
