Just wanted to try it out again after a three star review from the LA times piqued my interest. Anyways, went the other night and it really isn't very good at all. basically mediocre, and the prices are very high. like an order of regular tuna sushi for 8 bucks or toro at a whopping 20 bones for two pieces (the toro was no better than the ones at nozawa or wasa, where you get two pieces for under 10 bucks). the special hamachi sashimi w/ jalapneono pepers was nothing special, the fish quality didn't seem to be up there nor was the saucing (i had this once before and it was pretty good when visiting nishimura a few years ago). highlight of the meal was the kumamoto oysters, tiny, delicious, excellent oysters. but 1 or 2 dishes out of six dishes, is defintiely not a high percentage of good eats and further more getting out of there for 100 a person, is even worse since it's really not up to par. should have went to echigo or nozawa or somewhere else.
