Ninth Avenue International Food Festival

I just came back from the festival, and I have some thoughts. Although I really enjoyed some of the food there, I wish that there could be more of a variety of ethnic food represented there. There was alot of Thai, Dominican, and Greek food, but what about Swedish, Ausralian, Morrocan, Nigerian, and Brazilian food! Also, I wish some of the more upscale places in the 'hood had booths there, offering small "tastes" of gourmet neighborhood fare! This would be good advertising for them, and would help bring in the local pre-theater crowd to their establishments. Little "tastes" of foie gras, bruchetta, sushi, goat cheese, etc. Perhaps this is going too far, I don't know? Escargot anyone? But hey, let me know how you feel? Did you go to the festival? How was the food? Am I crazy in search of upscale street festival food? Give a holler and let dave hear what you have to say on this subject! Thanks folks!
