My husband and I will be spending two nights in Paris on the way back from Rome in September. Would love to have a couple dinners at the newer bistronomie or cuisine d'auteur-type restaurants. Was originally thinking Frenchie, but it sounds like, at this point at least, it may not be quite up to the hype.
My thoughts now are toward Septime and Chatomat, with Roseval and Pirouette as backups. From reading comments here and on Lefooding.com, it sounds like those are good choices, but would love your thoughts.
Would they be too similar? Other places I should consider instead? And how far in advance should I plan to make reservations?
