I'll be at the Boston Marriott Cambridge Tuesday, Aug `14th. Looking for one dinner, one person. Logical choice is Craigie's on Main, but I'm not into a 5- or 7- course meal alone. WIll I get the essence of the kitchen doing a la carte? I'm reluctant to reserve a bar reservation there (secured with credit card) being that I am flying in that evening. I see Amuse is nearby. What's that ScienceCafe thingie place? Fairly new? Little Donkey? (FWIW I was not that into Toro's NYC location.)
I'm from NYC and don't necessarily need high-end. I know Central Square used to have good ethnic eats. Open to ideas for Indian, Middle Eastern, or other highly-flavored cuisines.
Thanks in advance. PS. Lived in Boston for 6 years and get there at least every year, so know my way around. Not that savvy about Cambridge, so keep it closeby, please. No Somerville, for example.
