I followed the recipe. I wanted to offer these up to some friends and still have my heart set on it. so set that i have a pound of shelled pistachios! I am certain there is an error in the amount of flour she calls for. If anyone out there has the Baking book, "How to be a Domestic Goddess" and knows what this error's correction is please please please tell me. I just pulled the first sheet of cookies out of the oven and I don't even know why I put them in because she says in the recipe that the dough will be thick and to roll a walnut sized piece in your hands. There was no rolling this stuff! If it's not a flour error then it's a butter error, these cookies spread like things whose butter is soft or too generous do.
ack. so sad.
