Nick's Deli in Bethel, CT

Elisa515 | Oct 10, 201510:46 AM

Had a couple terrific sandwiches today at Nick's Deli at 10 Stony Hill Road in Bethel (just up the street from Target, on the other side, if that's why you're in the area). This place is easy to miss, as it's nestled behind a strip shopping center that includes the Peruvian place and a dry cleaner.

We had eggplant with fresh mozzarella and roasted peppers on a really good kaiser roll with pesto mayonnaise. One of the sandwiches also had a chicken cutlet. The sandwiches cost $5.95 and $6.95 respectively. Nick's is open every day but Sunday from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (just 3 p.m. on Saturdays). Breakfast until 11.

Daily specials, catering, everything made on premises from what I could see. There are several tables inside and a few picnic tables outside.

We're new to the area and have had some good sandwiches, but I can tell this will be my go-to place.
