just back from another wonderful dinner. i had a glass of shiraz, excellent wine, great value. dad had glass of albarino, also very good and unique offering. started with calamari and shrimp, pan sauteed (NOT fried) with gnocchis and broccoli florets in a white wine/herb/parmasean sauce. almost like a scampi but more complex, seafood was perfectly cooked and impeccably presented. i had grilled duck breast over spring veg orzo with dijon, i counted 7 different veggies. another home run. dad had the special, grilled sea scallops over a wild mushroom risotto which was deeply, deeply mushroomy. the scallops were sweet, delicious and perfectly cooked. he was delighted as mushrooms and scallops are his 2 favorite food groups! it was his first visit so i was thrilled that was the special. we had an orange sorbet to round out the meal, served with nice summer berries and house made orange candies, fun! we sat at the bar to enjoy the free show with dinner. did not catch her name but our server was lovely, pleasant and helpful.
