Niche asian request from LA Chower?

john gonzales | Nov 22, 200502:14 PM     10

First off thanks for recent suggestions on a meal in Sonoma. We ended up having a very good, not fantastic, meal at General's Daughter. Service was excellent, pricing fair, food VG.

On to the next query. We may or may not try to walk-in or get-in to Slanted Door. However it's the type place I'm searching for an alternative to. I like Crustacean too.

Asian, but hopefully somewhat cross-over/fusion. As in not straight Chinese. Here in LA we have a lot of great Chinese but IMO lack more formal Vietnamese. (I love Viet with a bit of French influence).

Also someplace with a bit of atmophere. Nothing wrong with a good hole-in-the-wall but not this meal.

Value is not a big concern, as much as tasty dishes.
Thanks
