Not an earth shattering tip, but I just wanted to recommend the take away sushi from the fish store on 7th avenue between 3rd and 4th streets. It's called Park slope fish store, I think. Very fresh, nicely packaged and resonably priced.
Crab cakes are so often disappointing -- mushy or gummy, full of starchy filler. But these easy cakes are full of beautiful lump crabmeat, and a light panko coating ensures they fry up crispy and golden brown. Bright, lemony aioli makes a piquant counterpart to the sweet, sweet crab. Read more.
